today i got direct tv, and behind the reciever theres a usb plug. could i plug it up to my computer and watch tv?

that might be for an external HDD... I would reccomend reading the manuel.

well i have another question. i switeched my regular reciever for a direct tv dvr reciever,and was wondering if i could transfer the recorded shows onto my computer or psp?
