Hey,
I was fooling around on my new HP pavillion laptop, and there is a button right above the touch pad that is that is blue, it's in the black boarder around the touch pad. If you click enlarge on the link you can barely see it. But anyways i hit it and it turns orange, and i cant use my keyboard or touch pad, i hit it again and it turns blue, but i still cant do anything on the pad or keyboard. But when i plug in a mouse it works. Any help?
Brand new and any help would be greatly appreciated.

That blue button is supposed the disable the touchpad when you're typing, so you don't accidentally click on something.

Go to HP's support site, and download new drivers for the touchpad.

It's looking for a mouse when you turn it off. If you don't have a mouse plugged in and you find yourself locked out just reboot.
