HP 2300 Lazerjet Troubleshooting?

Does anyone know printers well?

I have an HP lazerjet 2300 and everything has been working fine. Today, I tried to print a 26 page document on legal size paper and it gives me an error that says "preprinted letter" "unexplected size paper in printer" on the actual led screen on the printer and when it tries to print, sheets of paper print out that have rows and rows of numbers on them. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Unplug the printer and let it rest for a bit. Then try it again. If it continues, take some paper out if you have it stacked to the max.
