I hope this is the right place to post...

I've made about 50 home movies and converted them into AVI format to play on my dvd. this is a very slow process & annoying :/.

I have tried to plug my hard drive into my set top box but it keeps showing a message;

Unsupported Media...

Any Idea's would be great.

thanks

If your set top box supports a Hard drive then it not as simple as you think..
Set top hard drive use a different format to PC hard drives plus the videos are in different format.

Cannot help you any further on this as I do not know what brand is your set top box.
It would be wise to contact the manufacturer or just do some googling on your set box for info on playing media.

thanks for the advice I'll have a good look at my setop box & add the exact name of it to this forum
