How do i keep track of internet usage

i am thinking of going onto a 2mb connection which limits me to 30gb usage a month. Can anyone recommend any software i can use to monitor my current monthly usage (upload and download).

30 gb is loads ive got a 2gb limit and ive never passed it, 1 gb is (on average) 12 hrs a day so unless u do some extreme downloading, you'll never even get half-way

yea thing about it...thats like 50 game demo's, thats like 10,000 songs. your good to go

I also would like to know a program that does, I constantly download t.v. shows and stuff, last month I downloaded about 25 albums and 35 gigs of shows. Right now (it's not done yet) but I'm downloading 30 gigs in total. I have no GB limit on my connection, I am a free man, not a number.
