How can i tell what type of CPU speed i have?

I know it's an Intel Celeron, but when I go to my computer system properties.. all i'm told is that it is an Intel Celeron.

Not very useful. I can't tell how much SDRAM it is or anything. I recently upgraded this computer I am on with DRAM but it didn't speed it up that much. So i figure what really needs to be upgraded on this computer is a CPU. But i don't know what the current speed is so that I can upgrade correctly. Plus i don't want to tear apart the fan and sink unless i really have to.

Edit: I'm using windows ME

Try the DirectX Diagnostic tool (type in "dxdiag" (without quotes) in the run command under the start menu). I'm not sure if it is in Windows ME or if it gives you the information you need, but it is worth a try. It should say it on the first page.

Or download Everest. Whatever floats your boat. :D

(I just made a post almost identical to this one just a second ago... That's kind of creepy. :D)

START/CONTROL PANEL/SYSTEM, look under the computer thingy there..it'll tell u cpu name, speed, amount of ram
