Help!! with sound

Hi, I just reformatted my computer today, and i tried to play some music but I am currently not receiving any sound at all. So i wanna ask i if i need a driver to have any sound or not?

These are some info on my computer.

Model Number: Compaq SR2038NX
Serial Number: MXX6390KPO

And i believe it is

Compaq Presario 2GHz AMD Dual Core Desktop PC

Yes you will need a driver. Go to that same website I gave you earlier for the LAN driver. Should be one for audio there.
