i have 400-500$ to spend and i need a cpu mobo videocard case and psu..
i'm building a computer for my friend and he mostly plays games like HL2 and CoD2...any ideas? thanks.

ASrock Dual Sata - $70
one of these cases depending on which you like(both are good and cheap) - $50
and an enermax 535w - $90
and a 7600GT - $200

total = $540 + shipping

the 7600 is nice but if you want to save money a 6800GT is also decent for now. the 6800s are quickly becoming low end though, but hey..if it works for you, go for it.

P.S. don't need RAM or hdds or OS?

yeah the BFG 6600 GT will do nicley. It will play COD2 and BF2 with swell graphics. you dont need a 7600 if you only have that amount to spend

just found a 7600GT CO for $169 on monarchcomputers.com, about the same price as a 6800GT.

they actually have those at monarch computers for $114. thats hella cheap!
