Help needed for graphics

Hi,

I'd like to know if ATI Rage 4port PCI can work on new computers?
Does it use its own memory and processors only or it's possible to share with main pciexpress card?

If you know any cheap and better solution for displaying different pics in different monitors, please suggest!

It looks like you are trying to run multiple monitors, correct?
The ATI Rage will work in newer computers, but it is awfully dated, and you should probably consider a newer card.

How many monitors are you trying to run?

I need run on 4 monitors (for vjing).
I already have splitter, but it gives same pic on all of them. I need something that should give me ability to run different pics, videos and effects on every monitor separately.
Alredy have nVidia gf9500gt, just need more connectors

Cool! I love multi monitor setups.
I have four myself. Sometimes it is possible to re-enable the onboard GPU, even with a PCI-express card plugged in. Check the BIOS to see if there is an option that allows both to init simultaneously.

If not, then we have four options.
1) buy a new graphics card with quad monitor support, e.g. HD 4850 x2
2) add a second graphics card
3) Add Graphics extensions e.g. matrox triplehead2go
4) USB graphics adapters.

1 or 2 would be the optimal solutions, however it kinda depends on what you intend to do with these monitors.

Does your motherboard have a second PCI-express x16 slot?
