Hello everyone, i am about to buy a new pc and have narrowed it down to 2 models:

1.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GALAXY-AMD-AM...tZUK_Computing_DesktopPCs?hash=item45ee3bb770

2.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GALAXY-INTEL-...tZUK_Computing_DesktopPCs?hash=item45ee3da622

As you can see they are more or less identical its just a choice between having an AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0ghz Dual Core with the 9400gt OR having an Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300 2.8ghz with the 9500gt, what do you think?

Also, i'm guessing it will be fine to run my old Windows XP from my old IDE hard drive on the Asrock G31M-GS 1333fsb mlotherboard? Seeing as this package doesn't come with an OS...

Thanks for any help.

I'd go with the Intel model. If you need more processing power, you could always overclock that Intel higher than you'd be able to overclock the AMD proc.

Should be fine to install the Windows XP onto your new hard drive, as long as you do not have that license of windows XP installed onto any other computer that is connected to the internet. The motherboard doesn't matter when installing an operating system.
