Help formatting C drive (and one final call for assistance)

OK, firstly, thanks for the assitance with my threat here http://www.computerforums.org/showthread.php?t=48709. I'd like to make a final, last gasp, plea for assistance. Apologies for repeating this threat, but desperate time call for desperate measures.

Anyway, if I do have to format the C drive, I won't be able to do this as I cannot acces the XP CD (as the above threat states).

well, if you still have your windows xp cd you can enter the recovery consol by pressing "R" before it starts the installation, and then type "format c:"

How else can I format my C drive.

You can make or buy a boot disk and then once its booted format it from the command prompt(format c.

you can make a bootdisk at this site

get into your BIOS and set your boot order to A:\ first

and boot to it

then type *format C:\*

yes, bootdisks are you second best option. I would recomend using one.
