I recently built a new computer, but when I turn it on the monitor goes into stand-by, and won't turn back on! I think my PC works but my screen won't show anything. My monitor is an old Dell an it needs to use the adaptor that came with the video card in order to work. The plug itself won't fit anywhere, but as soon as I plug it into the adaptor it goes blank. Is my videocard possibly defected? Please help!!!!
