Hi guys and girls

I have a slight problem in that my laptop has problems and i dont know how to sort it out as i dont know much about computers Help

one of the things that happens is a window pops up saying my windows is not genuine this has only happend this last few days and i have change nothing as far as i know


And it is showing that its online through my wireless connection but it wont let me online

This has only happened since going to the USA and it picked up the free wireless connection at the hotel

Any ideas would be great i have tried a system restore and its still the same

Talk to the hotel - you may need a username and password, or a special PC Card to be able to use the Free Wireless. Or it may not be free, and you may need to pay for a username.

Where did you buy the laptop from?

Sounds like windows is not activated. If you have a genuine copy of WIndows XP, you should be able to activate with no problems, assuming you have an active internet connection to the laptop.
