HDD Password In BIOS?

So i tried to fix my old Toshiba Satellite L355D today and I booted it up and it prompted me for a HDD User Password. I havent used this laptop in a year and i dont remember it.
Anyway of retriving my files? Is there a service i can send my hard drive so they can remove the password?
The HDD is HITACHI so is there any hope? THANKS!

Put the HDD in another laptop or computer and try.
