Hello, this is only my first post.
My grandad's old pc broke (probably the power supply) and he asked if I was able to get anything off it. I said I would have a go.

Specs of HIS HDD:
Seagate ST320014A
hkygkt.png

Windows XP

Specs of MY pc:

4 sata slots
3 IDE slots
2 sata HDD setup as RAID (not sure which version)
windows XP

PROBLEM:
The PC always boots from his HDD which doesn't boot because it is COMPLETELY different hardware. I have put the IDE on slave (using jumpers) and have presed a button to enter radi utility, then exit, then selected boot from the sata (I know because of different sizes). But regardless of what I do it always boots from HIS HDD.

I'm only 13 so please don't be hard on me. Also I will provide more info if needed.
Thanks in advance, Jabelone. :thumb: :)

Go into the BIOS and change the boot order and make sure that the SATA is in-front of the IDE.
