I sort of locked my Laptops HDD when using hdderase 3.1 on my UBCD because HDDerase finished with errors that are not fatal. I looked up the password on the readme which should have been idrive or that other long one but idrive didnt work. Now i have no idea how to get the lock off. I have tried to do low level formats and secure erases but it wont even allow me to do them because it is locked. I also tried hdderase again and same message came up with it still being locked. Anyways I was wondering if anyone else has ever taken the password off of a locked HDD which from where i have been reading it is impossible but I would like to hear everyones opinion.
