ok my current specs are as follows:

Operating System: Windows vista home premium with service pack 2

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 3.00GHz

Motherboard: Asus P5Q PRO

Hard Drive: 298.09 GB, ST3320820AS ATA Device

Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4870

Monitor: Dell S2209W-22 inch(Digital)

Power Supply: 530w Blue storm psu

Memory: 4gb of ddr2

Now everything except my hard drive and memory inside my computer has been purchased within the last 5 months and was wondering if i should upgrade the hard drive? The hard drive was from my old compaq (sr2149uk) which was made in jan 07.

Any help or advice on upgrades for my hard drive or memory will be much appreciated

Thanks

*EDIT* Ram speed is 667mhz

My method has always been. If it aint broke, don't fix it. IE if you're not experiencing any major problems with the hard drive, it's normally good to just leave it.

Yeah i see no reason to replace anything in there all looks good to me,

your RAM could be 800Mhz instead of 667Mhz and seeing as RAM is ridiculously cheap @ mo that may be worth doing but its only going to be a minimal performance increase not something you will physically notice prob will only show up on benchmarks

Your system looks good to me. If you're running out of space, you could get another hard drive though. But the above advice is good. Don't upgrade unless it's not working.
