im doing a new build for my mate

now im picking hi a graphics card that will play all games out now even if it has to be low settings.

im looking at the moment at

the 8600 vs 3850

does anyone have any suggestions for a better card for around £60 ??

i would probaly get the 3850 becuase it can crysis on med/high while the 8600gt can only play on low/medium

For the price it's got to be the HD 3850. Still a great card if you don't play with AA/AF and squashes the 8600 into a pulp.

and i am right by saying that will pretty much play any game thats out? i mean obviously nowhere near max them but every game should be playable shouldnt it?

No way near max? For a low to medium resolution gaming, it should still run todays games pretty well with perhaps not max AA and AF, but still high quality graphics settings. It's quite a nippy card actually. Exact same GPU as the HD 3870. The same GPU that the HD 4850, HD 4870 and HD 4870 X2 are built on.
