if you could get past a logon without needing a user and pass, windows wouldn't be a very popular operating system, i presume thats what ur running anyway?

its a dell laptop here at work, its windows 2000. im new here and this laptop is just sitting at my desk, i guess they will eventually fix it so i can use it when i go on travel, but for now i cant get in. im just wondering if theres a way to get in?

sometimes you can simply click CANCEL at the login window and it will log on, but not always.

Rat_Boy, no.

I have no idea why you are doing this, but you need to recover the windows SAM file, and use a program like Cain or Jack the Ripper to crack it, so that you will have the password.
