geforce mx4 4000 vs. geforce fx5200

These are the PCI versions of the card, I just need to know which one is better and by how much. My friend needs a better videocard, he has the mx4, i have the 5200 so i was thinking of just giving it to him since i really don't have any use for it. thanks in adv. kchi55

I would say the 5200 is an overall better card, theres not much info on the internet to prove it, but FX seems to beat beat the MX in reviews so...

Definitely 5200. More advanced and more reliable card IMO.

BOth cards have around the same speeds, just the FX5200 has DirectX 9 support, while the MX4k, no.

I see, alright thanks a lot guys, I'm really bad with older model cards, I didn't get into computers until the 6 series came out.

Yeah I had a computer when I was really young Windows 95 and netscape navigator, but I never actually understood the hardware aspect of it until.. say.. two three years ago?
