My Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT recently crapped out... that is, it decided it wouldn't boot up with the computer anymore. It automatically switched to my onboard 6100, which sucks. When I try to change the resolution on the on-board card, I get this message:
Also, If I try to re-enable my card, I get a blank screen and have to eventually reboot. One last thing, my on-board card doesn't allow fast scrolling for some reason..maybe due to the first problem. What I mean by that is, when scrolling on a web page for example, the scrolling is choppy and interrupts music/video (causes it to lag). It didnt even do this before I put the 8600 in, but is now doing it and I don't know why.
If anyone knows anything about any of this, please share the information. Thanks in advance.
