any other ones that seem good will be helpful

Unless you're a hardcore gamer or need a lot of macros, you won't see a major difference in gaming. Anti-ghosting is nice. But only if you press a good amount of buttons at once. Save your money up. I don't want to sound like a dick, but you spend a lot of money. Stop buying small stuff and save up for a month or two. Then you can get something extremely nice which will look fantastic and last you a long time.

A Saitek I see.. hhmmm I would follow rohan23's advice there and grad the $15 rebate offer on the Saitek model seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175005

You may need a small usb hub for some of the illuminated gaming keyboards like the Cyborg model seen there however. Add that on and saving for that since some tend to draw on the internal usb bus a bit.

I never really liked the feel of Saitek's keys. That Microsoft one looks nice, but a standard USB keyboard will work just as good as any gamer keyboard and save you a ton of money, unless you need the extra keys for macros as said earlier.

If you are gonna spend money on a keyboard, the only thing that would be worth it is to save your pennies and go for a Déck or Steelseries 7L. The reason they cost so much is because they use mechanical switches instead of the little rubber membranes for a much better feel.

I've had several MS, Logitech, and other keyboards standard and gaming with far few gaming style models and took notice of this besides simply going for just any illuminated keyboard including the Eclipse II Saitek model.

With mechanised keys you also have to remember the much higher price that comes along with it as well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823239002

Rohan's right dude. I mean, you have $50 now. Then you get another $50 here and there. If you get like $150 that's a gpu, or a processor, or a case, or even a monitor.

I also don't wanna sound like a dick, but if your living with your parents or are extremely rich (i doubt cause you only have $50 right now) you should really try saving up for other things besides computer parts.

I went from buying stuff all the time to not even spending money on a haircut. The economy is only getting worse. I used to get mediocre stuff. But now, I save up for a month and I end up having 400+ to spend on anything I want. I don't spend it on stupid stuff anymore. My books alone are costing me around $600. The point is to save. I know it's your money and I have no right to tell you anything. It's just a habit that will only benefit you.

ok! i saved my money up for the past year and a half for this i have my own damn money lol. I dont ONLY have 50$ i know the value of a freaking dollar and i didn't asked to be judged.......

No one is judging you. You asked for our opinion of what you should do and we gave it to you. It's your choice to listen. You can spend your life savings on crack for all I care. I'm just saying, if you want quality products, you need to spend smart.

Well spend smart is only part of it. Spend smart on what will work out best for you there according to preferences as well as quality can make a difference. One likes this one, another prefers that one, and the circle goes round and round except for what you will end up actually being content with.

Here I went back to a corded model simply not being satisfied with any of the cordless models seen out. The look at the Cyborg model at the link there was to show the best of what Saitek has to offer when comparing that to their lower priced models.
