ok my brother wants me to price up a computer for him with the price range around $1500.00 which is only for...case/mobo/video/cpu/psu/ram so i figure i can do it. what do you think about this setup. oh btw he doesnt make much moeny and will not be able to upgrade alot so im thinking this:

-AMD - Athlon-64 1.8Ghz, S-939 32/64 Bit, 512K, (3000+), Retail Box= $214.00

-MSI K8N NEO4-F (NF4, PCIe x16, 4xPCI, 4xSATA nVRAID, GbL, AUDIO)= $124.00

-OCZ PC-3200 Dual Channel Premier (2x512) 2.5-3-3-7 (Ltd. Lifetime)= $148.00

-ATI Sapphire X850XT Platinum Edition 256M DDR VIVO PCI-E (Retail)= $681.00

-Nikao X-Blade Black Gaming Case w/ no LCD Panel - w/ 450w P/S= $55.00

-Aspire X-SuperAlien 500W P.S. (Black) w/ Dual Blue fans (12V is 34A)= $86.00

Total $1504.20

so what do yea think. feel free to make suggestions, he wont be building it for another month anyway and i figure he shouldnt have any complaints with this system. he's switching hard drive/optical drives/etc. thats not on that list from his other computer so dont worry about the other things.

lol forgot to say im canadian and he doesnt want to buy from america and get it sent down or sent to relatives.

Does he really need that graphics card? Theirs a lot of money going into that, I persoanlly might go for something of a little less quality and go for a slightly better cpu, something like a 2.2 ghz amd processor. BTW, isn't ATI supposedly coming out with a new graphics card that will be supposedly their best card yet? If so that might drive down the cost of that graphics card if you can wait a little. I could have sworn I heard a not too far off release date, yet I could be mistaken.

yes he wants one that he will be able to play games with (any game out right now and for a little bit on highest settings) and that he wont have to replace for a while
