formating

i have just built my first computer and every thing seems to work fine but i forgot to format my new sata hard drive i just loaded vista straight on to it it seems fine but could it cause a problem i thought about just wiping it and starting again but vista is a oem version would it let me re actervate thanks for any help

I think so. Someone else told me I will be able to do that with mine when I need too, and mine is OEM.
