Hi, i have a real annoying problem with my windows login startup. Whenever i start up my computer and go into windows, i would have to waite a couple of minutes for the floppy drive to turn on or boot up or sumthin (when it makes a reading noise) then windows run smoothly. If not, my computer malfunctions n stuff, like it won't login or norton is disabled or internet connection not working, etc. does ne1 know whats the problem here is and how can i fix this problem?

Cheers.

Sometimes when a floppy drive is about to die on you, it will fail to release itself from its last command, whether it is just a floppy drive quick check from the bios or it is actually reading a diskette.
You can stop this by disabling the drive in the bios if your mobo supports this feature. If not then I would look for a new floppy drive.
