Firefox not working

I noticed today that my 2nd computer ( hooked up to a wireless router) is unable to access web pages when using Firefox.
The OS is Windows ME. You can gain access to the internet using IE, but with Firefox, it opens but does not show my homepage and will not open any web sites that are typed in the address bar.
I un-installed and re-installed it, but still no luck.
I use Firefox on this computer running Windows Media Center OS.
Any Help?

Yeah, just check real quick if you accidentally disabled Firefox in your firewall program. Give Firefox permission to access the net, and you should be set.
