You have to plug it in to a main jumper on the motherboard. Unfortunately, with the specs you gave, your mobo doesn't support it. (firewire = 1394)
You would have to buy an add-on card and then connect from the card to the front panel plug (if the card allows it) Some cards only give you the abillity to use it's own plug and no way to connect a lead to the front panel.

$15 on newegg.com. A card will typically have 2-3 ports on the back end and an additional one on the card itself that you can use to connect your front firewire port. So .... dont be sad :( It's an easy fix. :)

ok hey thx umm one thing is newegg in american money? cus i live in canada soo

umm i don't know.... i havent bought the case yet but i might be a usb.

if this case says recumended for intel can it still be good for amd? this case is called the (Aspire X-Cruiser Mid-Tower Gaming Case) but i might go for the (Aspire X-Navigator) if the first one is no good

Yeah, if it's good for Intel it'll be okay for AMD this is just a airflow thing.

I think NewEgg do ship to Canada!

On the case it'll have wire, known as jumpers.

Look at your mobo book for where they go!
