External Harddrive

My external hard drive won't work since I reformatted my hard drive. I reinstalled the drivers and it still won't work. My external hard drive is a lacie 80gb and the dot is meant to be red but it turns yellow when I plug it in. It's not working whatsoever.

What can I do about this inconvenience and make the hard drive work again, it has some pretty important things on it.

Have you installed your USB drivers, check device manager. Have you checked disk management to see what it says about the externall HDD there?
