EVGA 7800 GTX fan always 100%

hey guys, ive got an EVGA 7800GTX KO ACS3 256mb card graphics card in my lan computer, its a great card but the problem is the fan. it does have the 4 pin fan connector so i know there's a way to control the fan, but rivatuner doesnt show the usual fan control tab. does anybody have this card and fixed it? or if you have any ideas please tell me!!

im anal about my computers being loud, i like them as quiet as possible when im just surfing the web or it bothers the heck out of me. everything in that computer is absolutely silent except that 7800....

any help?

Try Downloading the Ntune utillity from the nvidia website.That will allow you to control fan speeds.

i did, but it doesnt allow it for this card... i just took the ghetto approach and attached a quiet 80mm fan directly to the heatsink, it actually runs cooler now... lol
