I have been working with this PC of mine for three days. I have read everywhere that the drivers may be a problem or heat. I have it locking up on Half Life 2, Star Wars Battlefield, America's Army, Call of Duty and Call of Duty UO. Hell, anything I do it wants to lock up, as far as games. I can play Half Life for about 3 minutes then it locks up. I have checked my drivers and updated, then I rolled back, then updated the firmware on the BIOS, I updated the drivers for the motherboard. I even opened up the case side and it locks up. I even put a blower, like a leaf blower in the side to displace the heat, I still get the same error. The VPU Recover error. Now I have a PCI Radeon 9250 and it does not lock up at all. Never has and I think it never will. But every minute of a game it locks up. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it heat or is it the motherboard being incompatiable? If I was to replace it, what should I thry to get that is around 130 or so bucks?
