DVD Software not working but DVD's Work

i had this program thats a dvd software the software is solidworks. i had it installed before i had to do a system restore on my gateway notebook. after the system restore nothing for the cd will come up and it wont autorun. the cd is fine. dvd's work it in and also diffrent software works but not a dvd software is there something i need to download for it to work? thanks

So the DVD burning software dose not work is that what your saying, have uninstalled it and reinstalled the software if you have the disc, if not try Nero6 or 7

Have you tried going through My Computer to access the CD? Maybe something got reset that it won't autoload. Try going to Start > Run and typing X:\setup.exe, where X is the letter of the drive. Let us know what you come up with.

when i try to access the dvd from my computer it comes up blank. and its not the burning software its a program that is not working. thanks
