I have a pc that i bought a combo drive for that burns and plays cds and DVDs. I put in a DVD that my friend made for his school club to burn some copies for everyone (completely legal, dont worry :p) and wanted to test it first.

I pressed autoplay and in ALL of my DVD playing programs, it had the audio, but no video. If there was video, it was just a set fuzz. Not even any movement.

Any ideas on why the DVD-ROM on my drive wont work?

And then second of all, I dont have another drive so i cant just copy discs so is there any way to capture the ISO of a DVD on the drive, download it to the PC, and then burn it onto a new DVD (all using the same drive)

Thanks :)

yeah, you might be missing codecs.. i suggest getting the ACE PROFESSIONAL codec pack.. has everything you need.. and let it play on LITE mode.

you might have decoding problems... check your software or hardware decoder... also, windows media player has problems playing dvds... I use the cyberlink powerdvd
