DVD Prob

can some one help. i was playing games using my dvd drive, and the thing froze. The drive wouldn't open up, so i manually opened it took out the cd and shut it. The computer now doesn't recognise the dvd player and theres nothing i can do.

Take out the chords in the back, and put them back in. Make sure it didn't get unhooked to the mothercoard.
