DvD Burner!!

Hello, for my birthday I am going to be getting a dvd burner, my budget is $200, I am looking for the best bang for my buck. I am looking for Dual Layer. I have a P3 600 MHZ 128 ram windows 98 se. I am currently looking at the Pioneer DVR 8. Is this ideal? Are there some better burners for my price range?

Well Henry_VCG_ , I am getting the Sony Duel Formatt , Double Layer DVD burner this Christmas.

yes, some DvD burner's will vary....I would go w/a well
known company name...And if you can, get some reviews on it....

Yeah I wanted the Sony but it was XP only

I'm not going to get a new comp just yet, I can always put the dvd burner into a new comp when I get one, so I still think its a good idea.
