does this mb look alright?

by some of the reviews of the people, it doesnt look that great. Intel, ASUS and Abit are good boards and from what ive heard are more stable

No, you want to look for brands has Asus, Abit, DFI for overclocking. Companys like ECS make there Nforce board hit only 250fsb or have a limit of this. You only what the motherboards that more out there, people know better. Like Asus, Abit, DFI

I agree with the majority, ECS isn't exactly known for quality motherboards.

ok cool thanks im just looking at a mb that will take a core duo/pentiumd since i will be upgrading from my pentium d in the future. the mb i bought now was like the cheapest pentium d mb new egg had i just needed it for a quick fix since i use the pc for school. if anyone knows any good boards that are not to expensive please help....

Gigabyte DS3, ASUS P5B. Its not ECS's fault that the board doesnt clock well. It's nVidia's fault.
