I am trying to set up a static IP address to use port forwarding and am having a problem finding the DNS server names. I did the command prompt and tried ipconfig /all and it only lists one IP address but I know there has to be a primary and alternate. Where can I find the rest of this information?

Thanks a bunch!!

Some more info about your setup will help mate.

Just coz you have setup a static IP, doesnt mean you need to use an alternate DNS, if your using a router then chances are that your DNS will be the same address as your router.

You only need to enter one field. On windows you can have between 1 and 8 DNS servers
