Hey i am planning on buying a video card then upgrading to another video card to run in SLi in the future to play bf2 on high setting at good resolutions with a minumum 60 fps.

My current hardware,
2x512mb corsair pc3200
Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice

I was going to get a 6800gt or a 7600gt but i saw the 128 bit interface compared to the 6800gt's 256 bit interface whats up? Whats the difference between 256 bit interface than the 128 bit interface, and what is the better card for me?

Thanks
Bryan

a 256-bit interface provides twice the bandwidth of a 128-bit interface. If i were you, i would go with a 256-bit interface. A 128-bit interface bottlenecks the RAM and GPU. It is clearly demonstarted in the 6600GT. It has a 128-bit interface, and insane clock speeds. But it was nipping at the heels of the 6800nu, which uses a 256-bit interface, and slower clock speeds.

What about a 6800GS and a 7600GT? I have to decide between these two, and I want the better of the two!!

Nevermind,

7600GT > 6800GS

Finally, took FOREVER to find a benchmark with both the 6800GS and 7600GT.. for the price, I saw the 7600GT is hands down superrior to that 6800GS. :)

I told him it was better in another thread he made, but i guess he didn't want to believe me. I was refering those exact same benchmarks.

oh, sorry dude, didnt see the thread.. Well maybe I did. But I didnt see any links..
