Well, ive slapped a few peices together to make something that somewhat resembles a computer. Ive finally figured out why my comp always closes my programs, upgrading from a 450 to a 600watt psu, so as soon as i get that, ill redo the 3dmark2001 test. Anyways, i managed to get through teh whole test, and got a 6591. Specs are, and will be upgraded as soon ias i get more extra cash:
1.5ghz P4 478pin, not 423
512mb ddr 3200 ram
Ati Radeon 9550 265mb ddr, agp.
some cheesy sound card
3 case fans, 1 cpu fan.
and other misc crap.
I plan on just getting a 2.6ghz P4 or something similer soon, whatever's cheapest. ANd then get another stick of 512 to bring it up to 1gig of ram. Im not a big gamer, just like to play teh occasional game. I do alot of image editing, so i figured this would work fine. just curious on my 3dmark2001 benchmark.
