Is this deal worth it? 9600gso

Before this I was thinking about a 4770 or a 4830 but I only have this PSU

Would it be better to get one of the better two, or just jump on this deal?

Would this PSU be sufficient?

You PSU is a bit on the low side for an HD 4770 or HD4830 as they both require at least 450W. It may be fine, but I can't say for sure.

They are both better performing cards than the 9600GSO. Unless you have a Fry's nearby, you may not be able to get it as it's unavailable for shipping.

The HD 4770 actually consumes less power than the 9600GSO, you'd still be taking a little bit of a risk but it will definitely be worth it if you can run it as the HD 4770 is a much faster card.

Hmm if it can't support it what happens? Does the card short circuit? The PSU die?

If so I can just buy a new PSU but it would have to be as cheap as possible but still stable

It won't damage anything. You will just get a lockup/reboot in intense games and that's all.
There's no harm in trying.
