before my computer was crashing and it was saying that files were currpted. i thought i found the problem and got my RAM repaired, but could the problem also be caused by my motherboard RAM slots?

go into a command prompt and type chkdsk /r it will say it has to run on next startup, just hit y for yes, and then restart your computer. The whole process may take over an hour or so

 I did that once, it takes a loong time!

i never even new i could do that, and the bug doctor thing worked great...it found like 30 errors on this computer i built for someone else. now this computer works like perfect. but i still have to try it with my other comp...i looked closely at my ASRock 939dual SATA2 mobo and im pretty sure a peice was broken off near the RAM slots i might RMA that
