crapware/adware removal from new PC

Hi, I bought a new computer a few months ago and I still havnt worked out how to get rid off all the bundled rubbish from my new HP laptop

The thing im trying to remove comes up on the start menu as 'Online Services > united kingdom> AOL/Orange broadband ect.. the link is disgused as a internet shortcut but it leads to a EXE, ive tryed deleting it but it comes back on reboot

Could someone point me in the direction of a guide or tell me how do get rid of it

Have you tried looking through Add/Remove Programs for an uninstaller?

Yes ive already tried Add/remove programs and cant see any obvious entry for this software, i did notice a load of other HP software im considering getting rid of too

Hmm . . .

Maybe try running Adaware SE.

I managed to get rid of it using add/remove programs, i thaught it hadnt worked it just left the shortcuts behind

I've found that happens with quite a few programs when uninstalled. Some tend to leave folders and crap behind.
