CPU getting fried?

My computer has been acting strangely. For instance when im watching youtube for an extended time the words disappear I cant see what im typing and my desktop has the top lines of icons disappeared until I scroll over them.

What kind of pc do you have?

I'm not sure but it might be the monitor. Maybe test by using another one?

Try reseat the video card and reinstall the video card driver.
