Couple of questions about upgrading CPU

So I purchased this motherboard.

Now I want a CPU upgrade, nothing too fancy, just a dual core and I like the looks of the 45W CPUs because they put out very little heat. So I had my eye on this CPU.

First off, I have some questions, my motherboard's FSB is 1000mhz (2000MT/s) and this new CPU is 2000mhz. Will this CPU work on my motherboard? And will it be able to reach it's full potential even though the motherboard's FSB is 1000mhz? Am I going to have to purchase a new motherboard with a 2000mhz FSB to get 100% of this CPU?

And if I see a performance increase how much will it be? Will it be noticeable?

Shouldn't be a problem.

Did a bit of research and it seems its simply 2x 1000mhz HT because it has 2 cores, and has been double pumped because of it being dual channel. This will output fine.

Why do they have different frequencies then? I don't understand how and why they name these things the way they do.

So it seems like a marketing ploy, like you saw quad CPU's listed as 9.6GHZ, etc when it was just 4x 2.4GHZ

I have a AMD Sempron 3400+ (1.8ghz) overclocked to 2.3 ghz (The multiplier you can't change in my BIOS, I calculated it at 9 (the bios doesn't say what it is) so I changed the bus (right?) speed from 200 (200 * 9 = 1800) to 256, (256 * 9 = 2304) and 256 is the highest I can go, at 257 the system turns on and it will freeze within 5 seconds) And discussing this further is pointless, because I already ordered the CPU. Well not pointless, but I can't change anything from now on.
