Hi folks,

Can anyone please tell me what to do to copy and paste a window that is opened on the desktop.
I know that the print screen would work. But on top of that u will have to edit a lot in order to get the window alone.
What i need is actually this.
I need to open a window as small as the window of the Yahoo messenger(ofcourse not the maximised one). And this window is to be copied and pasted on the image editing page or a simple bitmap file.
Can i do it?
And if so how?
Please help!!!!

Cheers,
tester.

You can't take a screenshot of a window. You have to take a whole screenshot and edit it in paint to be the window. It is not hard, it takes but 15 seconds. Stop being lazy!

Is it so??
Oh there should be some way, an easier and lazier way of getting a screenshot.
Anyway thanks CarpeNoctem.

If you want to take a screen shot of JUST the active window and not the whole screen, hold down ALT and press PRINTSCREEN, it will take a picture of the active window.

Wooow that's exactly what i wanted.
Thanks man. The Alt+ Prn Scrn Works perfect.

Coool NetLight!!

Just passing the knowladge.
Here is another tip:
You know when you are adding to something you type, and the text you type replaces what you typed prievously?

Just hit Insert and it fixes it.
