Converting Mov file?

Hello there, just purchased a digi cam and i have go movie mode on it so i've tried it out but i've noticed it takes up alot of memory when download to pc.
So when i want to send it someone over the net its going to take sometime so im wondering if there is anyway of converting the .MOV file?
So it will take up less hard drive space.
If so which is best? and where can i get it from off the net for free

It can be done.Go to dl sights and look for mov2avi.
If you can't find it i can send it,but i know people are afraid to seek and find an email Buddie.Oh well.I win sometimes.

Load the file up into movie maker and save it as a diffrent file type

Moviemaker will only make the file in WMP format which is all but useless - you will be able to view it though and its easier. What you need is something like Windows Media Encoder or indeed Dr. Divx. I would recommend Dr. Divx but its not free.
