Re: Computer Memory

Ok think about this if a brontobyte could hold every single word spoken. THEY ARE CRAZY. If 1 character is a byte. There is about 10billion Words spoken per day.So Thats about 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00 0,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00 0,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00
probably more than that so think about it its really not true that a brontobyte could hold all the words in the world

Erm, 1,000 GB's is a Terrabyte, not Petabyte. I'm not sure where you got that word.

Haha, I see this poll is going over very well ;P Yeah, I don't know about some of those terms... I know rakedog is correct about the Terrabyte.

There exist several unofficial SI prefixes, known as "bogus" SI prefixes. Some of these were proposals that were rejected. None is in common use, and many of the powers of ten they represent are already taken by official prefixes. In addition, the SI prefixes myrio and myria are obsolete.
