Lay your mouse upside down, this is the only way you can change the setting, lol. Therefore when you are at you desk, the mouse ball will most likely not move, as it does when you move around the desk
I take it that you want your computer to sleep while you may be at your computer desk, and you move around at the desk, when you are not using your computer.
