computer cables

this is my first time building a computer, and i have all of the appropriate parts, i just need a list of cables to get like SATA etc..

how can i connect that to a dvi d or vga input on the monitor? is there some adapter?

your monitor should come with the appropriate cable(s) to plug into your video card. also, your video card should come with a dvi to vga adapter in case your monitor doesn't support dvi.
