Complete uninstallation

Afternoon all.
I need a little guidence as to how I would go about uninstalling EVERYING of my computer, including the operation system (windows '98). Im guessing that most people here know alot about computers, and i would be greatly appreciative if someone could give me a step by step guide to doing it, as I do not have a clue where to begin.
