Hello all, I have a question regarding the interface possibilities ( besides USB) of compact flash.
Is it possible to interface between it and standard IDE ports, basically to use it as a hard drive in a pc system? (And to boot from)
I've seen it done in military and other systems where a solid state hard drive is required to cope with excessive G's.
I would like to build a pc to use as test gear and I would like to use compact flash for the same reasons as above.
I know that flash drives are available but they are hideously expensive.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone has advise for me.
